Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life. Why?
My spiritual father, Dr. Lay. (I call him Daddy Lay.) He has brought an immense amount of life-changing wisdom and advice into my life. I see him as the reflection of the kind of person I aspire to become: honest, stern, but loving, focused, successful, and humble.
What is the most interesting or unique thing that has ever happened to you (aside from winning your title) and/or what is the most interesting thing about you?
July 28th, 2003: I gave my life to Christ, having no idea of the transformation that was about to take place within me. For the first time ever I feel whole, at peace and truly happy. I've been told that I am a natural charmer with positive inner energy. Now that's unique.
What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
One day I will graduate as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I am currently working and saving money to cover the costs of my studies. In the meantime I'll stay focused on my vision until I reach my eventual goal.
Describe your childhood home and living conditions. Were you raised with a large family with lots of brothers and sisters?
I am a city girl in a small island context. The area is residential, just five minutes from the city. I was adopted at the age of one out of a large family (6 sisters, 2 brothers) and raised as an only child. Although I was raised in a wealthy family, I learned early to earn my keep. In other words, I have had to work hard.
What one word describes you best?
Considerate.
