Ivelina Petrova

Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life. Why?
Calvin Klein - Although I have never met him in person, his dresses and clothes have changed my life. He is the reason I chose to study fashion design.

What is the most interesting or unique thing that has ever happened to you (aside from winning your title) and/or what is the most interesting thing about you?
For me the week of preparations for "Miss Bulgaria 2004" was a unique experience. I had never met before so many girls from all over Bulgaria and I have never made so many good friends. Due to this experience I have become more responsible and disciplined.

What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
I would like to become a successful fashion designer, to open my own boutique and people to like my clothes. I am sure that the only way for anybody to accomplish something in his life is to study hard. That is why although fashion design is not a tough sience like maths or physics, I know that there are many things to learn and practice.

Are you currently a student? If yes, where? What is your area of study?
I study in the Vocational school of textile industry and fashion design in the town of Varna., Fashion design.

List any interesting or unsual jobs you may have had.
During the previous summer I helped a family of old people from our quarter to sell their souvenirs made by sea shells, clams and star fish.

Describe your childhood home and living conditions. Were you raised with a large family with lots of brothers and sisters?
I was a happy child, raised together with my younger brother by our always caring mother. She stayde in home with us, while our dad worked on the ships for providing the family. Although we lived in a small flat, we were always together and always happy.

What one word describes you best?
Defender.
