Catherine Daza Manchola

Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life. Why?
My aunt and godmother. She is an example of improvement and moral, spiritual and economical help. To me she is the leader of the family because a long time ago my grandmother had economical problems and she was the one who helped the family progress.

What is the most interesting or unique thing that has ever happened to you (aside from winning your title) and/or what is the most interesting thing about you?
Receiving the scholarship I had always dreamed of to finish my studies.

What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
First, to finish my career as an economist, learn English and take a postgraduate course abroad in Finance. Then, return to Colombia to get some experience and become the manager of the Republic Bank. After that I would like to work in the New York Stock Exchange.

List any interesting or unsual jobs you may have had.
As a model to pay for my university studies. I greatly enjoy it as a profession.

Describe your childhood home and living conditions. Were you raised with a large family with lots of brothers and sisters?
I was raised in a happy home because I received what is the most important thing in the world: love and education. I am the eldest of three children. I have a 15-year-old brother and a 9-year-old sister to whom I am offering the same teachings I received from my parents.

What one word describes you best?
Winner.
