What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
The craziest thing I have ever done was taking a hot air balloon adventure over the Masaii Mara in Kenya with my family. We took off in total darkness and watched the sunrise. Upon landing, there was a herd of zebras and wildebeests in the way, and it resulted in a crash landing where I ended upside down in our basket!

What is the most interesting or surprising thing about you, or that has happened to you?
Winning the title of Miss Maine Teen USA!
Are you the oldest, youngest or a middle child and what does that mean to you?
Because I am older, I know that I must be a role model for my younger sister, Kate. I believe that I have a responsibility to look out for my younger sister and always offer her love and advice.
Name one person, family, friend, celebrity, who has had the most influence on your life.
Mom. I admire every single aspect of my mother. She is hard-working, inspirational, loving, compassionate, giving and kind. She has been there for me since day one, and I know I wouldn't be the person I am today if it hadn't have been for her unconditional love and support.
What charity/charities have you supported with your time and/or resources over past two years? Please provide the name of the charity, level of involvement.
Fundraising to build a classroom for AIDS orphans in Piertermitzburg, South Africa - co-organized/coordinated fundraisers to send to the Piertermitzburg Rotary Club.
Safeway Passage - helped organize/coordinate fundraisers with local Interact Club. Safeway Passage provides children who scavenge the Guatemala City dump a chance to go to school.
Barbara Bush Foundation - volunteer at the WGME channel 13 Maine telethon. I accepted pledges to support the Childen's Cancer wing of Maine Medical Center.
Becca's Closet - Organized and coordinated fundraising. Becca's Closet is a scholarship program that enables underprivileged young women to have the chance to pursue their goals. I collected used prom dresses through my school and community to send to girls across the nation.
