What is the most interesting or surprising thing about you, or that has happened to you?
I am completely open with my parents. I have a wonderful relationship with them, and not many teens can say that.
Are you the oldest, youngest or a middle child and what does that mean to you?
I am the oldest. It is very important for me to be a positive role model for my younger sister Leslie.
Name one person, family, friend, celebrity, who has had the most influence on your life.
My Mother. My Mom is always available and ready to help any time that I need her. She is my best friend and I can talk to her about anything. She has taught me to be a leader and to believe in myself, and she has helped shape me into a caring, honest, and classy young woman.
What charity/charities have you supported with your time and/or resources over past two years? Please provide the name of the charity, level of involvement.

Coats for Kids - My high school Spanish Club does an annual coat drive for children in need during the winter.
UNICEF - My high school Spanish Club raises a substantial amount of money each year for UNICEF.
Race for the Cure - I participated in the race, and then visited with some breast cancer survivors.
Masons of Texas - I have visited the children at the Masonic Home and School twice, and I spoke with the girls about the importance of setting goals and having good role models.
DARE - I spoke at a DARE rally in Seguin, TX to over 1,500 5th grade students about being drug-free.
Masons of Texas - I have visited children at the Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas, TX.
Shriners of Texas - I visited the Shriners Hospital for Children, where I was able to participate in an art class with the children and used my Spanish!
