Where did you grow up? Tell us a little about your home town/city, and family.
I was born in Luanda. It was a bit funny because I was born in my grandmother’s kitchen. Luanda is the capital city of Angola. My family is very happy, cheerful and we respect each other. I was taught to never bend and face life as it is.

What Jobs have you done? What was the most interesting/bizarre?
I am currently working with people in need. Organising fund-raising activities to help them and provide them with basic services.

What are your career ambitions, how do you plan to realise them?
I am seriously working to be an international model. This is one of my dreams and I believe it will come true, because I am a hard worker.

What is the proudest moment of your life? (Not including winning your National Title)
One of the most important and significant moments of my life was the act of donating blood. I then realized that I could save somebody’s life.

What was the funniest/most embarrassing moment of your life?
The funniest moment happened on a formal dinner. I suddenly fell off the chair. I felt so ashamed.

What was the funniest/most embarrassing moment of your life?
Since I won the contest in my country, my life changed a lot. I have met new people, done things I never imagined I could do. I dress better and live a healthier life. People treat me with more respect. The most important thing is that I didn’t change as a person. I keep my family my friends and most of all I keep my essence.

Tell us about an interesting event you have attended, or a person that you have met.
I met Pope John Paul II, when he visited Angola. It was an incredible experience.

What would you like to do, if you became Miss World 2004?
If I were elected Miss World 2004, I would join the campaign to end hunger in the world. This, I feel, is one of the most important humanitarian issues as unfortunately in Angola and in many other places in the world people are starving.

If you had a personal motto what would it be?
I believe in solidarity among people.

Give details of any charitable work undertaken?
My charity work is being done with churches, hospitals and orphanages. I provide people in need with bedding, clothes, food and other means they may need to survive.
