Jana was born in Spernberk and grew up in Unicov with her family. She studied at the faculty of Pharmacy at the Charles University in Prague, graduating in June this year. Her ambition is to continue her studies and qualify as a pharmacist and practise in the Health Service. Hobbies include: reading, good films, travelling, sports - such as swimming and cycling, dancing disco & flamenco and has played the piano for 10 years she has taken part in many musical competitions.
Her motto is " To treat others as she would want them to treat her"
Where did you grow up? Tell us a little about your home town/city, and family.
I grew up in Unicov, which has 15 000 inhabitants. It is the second oldest town in Moravia and it is also a royal town.
What Jobs have you done? What was the most interesting/bizarre?
During my studies I worked in Pharmacy and also I worked as a model and photo model.
What are your career ambitions, how do you plan to realise them?
I would like to use my Pharmacy education for social aid in Health Service.
What is the proudest moment of your life? (Not including winning your National Title)
I won a competition in playing piano when I was a child. Also my graduation at the Faculty of Pharmacy.
What was the funniest/most embarrassing moment of your life?
I had funny time with my schoolmates at the college, it would be a long, long story… The most embarrassing moment would be when a patient in the pharmacy knew more about one medicine than I did.
What was the funniest/most embarrassing moment of your life?
I moved to the capital city of Czech Republic, Prague, and I have a lot of work as a model. I am afraid that I have less time for Pharmacy.
Tell us about an interesting event you have attended, or a person that you have met.
One of the most interesting people I have met is my good friend Petr. He is a doctor and he is 70. He is the person who cares for other people and he has a lot of energy. He treats our national representative sports team.
What would you like to do, if you became Miss World 2004?
I would like to use my position for social aid in international health service.
If you had a personal motto what would it be?
Treat others, as I would want them to treat me.
Give details of any charitable work undertaken?
I am the patron of Institute Sasnenka. This institute looks after handicapped children.
