Antonella was brought up in a small town called Mosta, which although small has its own history in having the third biggest church dome in Europe. Dancing is one of Antonella’s talents, she has practised ballet and jazz for many years and started to teach students who attended the same school as herself. She has also choreographed various musicals and dance shows such as ‘Beauty & the Beast’ and Madonna. At 17 she entered Beauty School, after qualifying she worked with a large beauty company gaining much experience, then went on to take a beauty specialization course in Milan, Italy. On 13 December 2003 Antonella achieved her goal and opened her own salon in Malta specialising in hair, skin, nails, fitness and make-up courses. In her spare time she still enjoys all kinds of dance, gym, volleyball, netball, basketball, table tennis and art. Her personal motto is "From thoughts to finish".


Where did you grow up? Tell us a little about your home town/city, and family.
My country or origin is a small hot European country called Malta. I was brought up by my family in a town called Mosta. Although Mosta is a small town it still has its own history with the 3 biggest church dome in Europe.

What Jobs have you done? What was the most interesting/bizarre?
After obtaining my certificates of Beauty, I started working with the largest Beauty Company in Malta. After gaining experience I decided to open a salon, which specializes in different aspects of Beauty.

What are your career ambitions, how do you plan to realise them?
My main plans for the future career-wise is to continue working hard in my profession of Beauty. My main ambition is that one-day I will be one of the leading National Beauty Therapist.

What is the proudest moment of your life? (Not including winning your National Title)
The moment when Beauty Team become a reality.

What was the funniest/most embarrassing moment of your life?
The funniest moment is when I stopped without fuel in a give-way zone.

What was the funniest/most embarrassing moment of your life?
Since I won the national title my every day life has become busier including more photo shoots and interviews.

Tell us about an interesting event you have attended, or a person that you have met.
A friend of mine who is good looking, very intelligent, charismatic and a great friend.

What would you like to do, if you became Miss World 2004?
One of my dreams has always been that if I ever had the opportunity in life to help children in poor countries. I would be able to work with homeless and abused children.

From thoughts to finish

Give details of any charitable work undertaken?
In my free time I go to help on a voluntary basis one of Malta’s leading children homes run by the crache sisters.
