I grew up in the town of Rose Hill in a comfortable house and nice environment with my father, mother and elder sister.

What Jobs have you done? What was the most interesting/bizarre?
My first and present job is a hotel representative for a tour operator.

What are your career ambitions, how do you plan to realise them?
My career ambition is to become the manager of my own tour operator company. I hope in four years after having acquired more experience to achieve that.

What is the proudest moment of your life? (Not including winning your National Title)
I ranked 1 runner up in a contest called Miss Sports Café in 2000.

What was the funniest/most embarrassing moment of your life?
Once I went on duty to meet some guests in a hotel wearing two different shoes. I only realised it when I was in front of them.

What was the funniest/most embarrassing moment of your life?
Nothing till now has really changed in my life and I remain an ordinary girl with my feet on the ground. But as from now I will have heavy responsibilities.

Tell us about an interesting event you have attended, or a person that you have met.
Once I met a person on the bus, who told me that I had a disturbed mind and I was very shocked. He showed me the method of meditation. Though I think that it was something useless, I finally considered and tried it.

What would you like to do, if you became Miss World 2004?
I would do my best to help those in need, especially young orphans.

If you had a personal motto what would it be?
Aim for the top of the mountain. At least one will land on a hill.

Give details of any charitable work undertaken?
I have been in a social centre to give goods to some refugees.
