Interests: My interests include dancing and spending quality time with my family and friends. One of my favorite things to do is to spend a day on one of Aruba's beautiful beaches.

Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life. Why?
My principles in life were influenced by my cousin, Maria, who is one of my best friends. She's an example of how we can progress in life. She is a fighter, very positive and a highly spiritual person. I admire her intelligence and values. She has built her career and raised her child alone.

What is the most interesting or unique thing that has ever happened to you (aside from winning your title) and/or what is the most interesting thing about you?
I think the most interesting thing about me is my personality. I am a sunny person who is very positive. I can be very determined when I have some goals and try to achieve a lot of things in my life. At the early age of 13, I had to take responsibility at home. I went to school and worked part-time. I consider my education extremely important. In addition, working helps me gain experience and makes it possible for me to help at home finacially.

What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
I want to further my tourism and travel studies and open my own online tourism company. I live in a city with so many historic attractions. I would like to promote my town, country and places all over the world. With the cooperation of my employer, I've had the opportunity to both study and work.

Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I was raised in Dakota, a small and friendly town in Aruba. My childhood was filled with fond memories of outings with the "Tias". A day at the beach, family gatherings at home and nature walks were transformed into magical events. I've been taught the importance of dignity and self-respect; all about love and caring; and that blessings are what you give, not receive. I still use these teachings as my daily guide through life.

What is your most unusual talent?
"Tambu" dancing, a folkloric dance with drums.
