Avengers- Age of Ultron, the sequel to the biggest summer blockbuster of 2012 is all set to release.
Starring Robert Downey Jr. along with Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, James Spader, and
Scarlett Johnson in significant roles, this movie is all set to become the highest grossing movie of 2015.
For the past few days, the stars of the movie have been kept busy by the premieres all around the globe,
along with press events and interviews. Recently, during one of the interviews, things went a little too
`Diane Sawyer` for our beloved Robert Downey Jr. who in the past has dealt drug issues.
Speaking to Britain`s Channel 4, Robert seemed in a candid mood has he spoke about the superhero
culture in the west and how he wasn`t exactly a nerd in his young days, and yet an admirer of comic
books and superhero series on the TV. In the same interview, Robert focused on how he has come a
long way in terms of personality from the 2008 blockbuster Iron Man 1.
However, things went a little sour when the interviewer shifted his focus from the movie to Robert`s
personal life, his stay in the prison, his issues with drugs, and other less impressive things from the
actor`s past. Even when the interviewer was politely reminded by the actor about the need to focus on
the movie, the former continued laying emphasis on the actor`s strained relationship with his father.
However, before the interviewer could put up any more questions, Robert got up and walked out,
clearly frustrated by the needless picking.
`Just getting a little Diane Sawyer in here,` Robert announced to the room that had the cameramen and
his assistant before walking out of the room, leaving the interviewer clueless, and maybe disappointed.
The interesting thing to note here was the support that came out for the actor on social media channels
and other websites. The video has been viral since last night, but much to the despair of the channel,
people have been bashing the interviewer for his childish approach to a problem that is now no longer
relevant in the actor`s life.
All around the world, Robert Downey Jr. has earned respect and admiration for the manner in which he
made a comeback from being an addict. The role of Tony Stark aka Iron Man has been the defining point
of his career and shall continue to be so, at least till 2019. A few months ago, when the actor`s son was
arrested for possessing drugs, Robert came out candidly on social media channels through his official
Facebook page, discussing the issue, how it was a hereditary problem, and how he was helping his son
cope up.
Age of Ultron releases in India on 24th April, and comes out in the US on 1st May. Early reviews are
already promising a joyride for people of all age groups. Are we going to see this movie break all the
previous records? Well, the trailers certainly suggest so.
