Singer Demi Lovato has been accused by vocalist Alexis Krauss and guitarist Derek Edward Miller of pop band Sleigh Bells of stealing one of their new songs.
The duo openly called out Lovato on Twitter as they pointed out that their "Infinity guitars" and "Riot rhythm" might have been illegally sampled on her "Confident" track called "Stars", reports aceshowbiz.com.
"Demi Lovato flattered you guys sampled 'Infinity guitars' and 'Riot rhythm' for 'Stars' but we were not contacted," the group wrote on Monday.
While Lovato hasn't responded to the tweet, some of her fans have, and they're clearly not accepting it.
The fans claim the group just wants some attention.
"The least you could do is attempt to be professional. Don't air your dirty laundry on the internet," one fan tweeted.
Another fan agreed and shared: "Please contact Demi or her team instead of tweeting her on social media."
"Stars" was co-penned by Savan Kotecha as bonus track off Lovato's latest album, which debuted and peaked at number two on Billboard 200. "Infinity Guitars" and "Riot Rhythm", meanwhile, are both featured on Sleigh Bells' 2010 set "Treats".
