Actress Jennifer Lawrence surprised children at Kosair Children's Hospital in her hometown Louisville, Kentucky.

Lawrence paid the surprise visit on Wednesday, reports variety.com.

This seems to be a holiday tradition for the `Hunger Games` star as she visited the same hospital last year on Christmas Eve and on December 22, 2013.

Lawrence also visited Shriners Hospitals for Children back in August when she was filming `X-Men: Apocalypse` in Montreal.

During her visit to the Kosair Children's Hospital, Lawrence spent the afternoon spreading cheer and taking photographs with the children, their families and hospital staff, who shared images on Facebook and Twitter.
