Blake Lively's upcoming Hollywood offering 'The Shallows' is already making news in India. Courtesy its adventurous and thrilling storyline, the film has many interesting incidents which will keep the audience on edge. The survival thriller showcases the struggle of a surfer called Nancy (played by Blake) when she's attacked by a shark while surfing.

Since, the movie is about Nancy's survival in the sea, Blake was required to shoot mostly in the water, and sometimes under water as well. In one such sequence, Blake was to get in a pitch dark water tank lit by underwater bulbs. While the production unit was a little sceptical about this sequence for which Blake had to hold her breath under water for a good amount of time, the enthusiastic actress was more than willing for the experience. Not only did Blake gave a perfect shot in the tank, she also held her breath well beyond a minute.


We must say this feat did help Blake win the 'superwoman' title on the sets.

The Shallows, will release in India on 16th September.
