Not many know but it was the prospect of working with actor Liam Neeson which got actor John Doman to come on board with Hans Petter Moland's Cold Pursuit. The actor says that he had always admired the latter's work. `The first thing that appealed to me about it was the fact that Liam Neeson was going to be the lead guy. I had never met Liam and never worked with him but I admired his work and I've heard through people who did know him what a great guy he was. So that right of the bat made me very interested in doing it. The script was very well written, the characters were very well drawn, a lot of action. And I had never done a movie that had that kind of action before so that was interesting for me as well,` he says.

Doman loved Moland's directorial style as well. `Hans Petter Moland, he has a very light touch as a director, which is wonderful really. You know there is no shouting or yelling or screaming, he comes over and gives a few touches here and there. And he knows what he wants I mean he's made this movie before so he has a lot of insight into the characters and he's very helpful,` he says.

The actor is sure that the audience will love the film. `First of all, I think they are going to be very entertained, I mean there is a lot of action and there are some twists and turns you do not expect. What they'll take away? I don't know what they'll take away in terms of a message but think they will have a very enjoyable night in the theatre,` he says.
