Fans waiting for another Kevin Hart stand-up special might have to wait. No, he's not hanging up his boots, but in fact, is bringing his comedic chops to the world of superheroes!
Kevin Hart will star and produce in a superhero comedy 'Night Wolf' from STX films. 'Detective Pikachu' writers Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit's 'Meet the Parents' take on the superhero genre was highly appreciated and soon acquired by STX films
'Night Wolf' is about an everyman (played by Hart) meeting his future-in-wars. As if it is not already terrifying, he learns that his soon to be father-in-law has a superhero alter-ego 'Night Wolf'.
`I am excited to be working with our friends at STX again. They brought us a great project with 'Night Wolf'. I instantly fell in love with this pitch about an everyday guy who is meeting his in-laws for the first time and unwittingly discovers his dad to be is secretly a superhero,` said Hart on the project.
Kevin Hart lent his voice 'The Secret Life of Pets 2' recently. He also appeared as Air Marshall Dinkley in a brief but hilarious cameo in 'Hobbs & Shaw' and starred in 'The Upside' opposite Bryan Cranston. He will also be seen in the upcoming 'Jumanji' sequel 'Jumanji: The Next Level' which will release on December 13 this year. Currently, he is busy filming for Paul Weitz's drama 'Fatherhood', a project on which he also serves as a producer.
