20th Fox Century has released the first official trailer for the deep-water thriller `Underwater`.

We get a glimpse at a crew of deep-sea researchers that has discovered a mysterious presence underneath the ocean. Soon, they find themselves taking a break from jesting around as their ship is torn apart by an earthquake. Out of options, their problems start to aggravate when one by one the crew members are taken apart by an unseen subterranean creature.

`Underwater` takes `the group of scientists trapped by a haunting presence` right into the heart of the ocean. The trailer promises some breathtaking horrors and claustrophobic scares, as the crew navigates their way to survival amidst the worsening situation.

`Underwater` is directed by William Eubank and written by Brian Duffield and Adam Cozad. It stars Kristen Stewart, T.J Miller, Vincent Cassel, Jessica Henwick, John Gallagher Jr., Mamoudou Athie, and Gunner Wright.
