Nicole Kidman as Gretchen Carlson and Charlize Theron as Megyn Kelly are nearly unrecognizable in the first look of `Bombshell`.

The debut footage is brief but rather heavy. News producer Kayla Pospisil (Margot Robbie) walks through the halls of Fox News to the elevator, as she`s watched by a reporter (Kate McKinnon). Kayla looks distraught and is joined by Megyn Kelly (Charlize Theron) who perhaps feels Kayla`s shame and hence can`t look her in the eye.

Both of them are joined by Grethen Carlson (Nicole Kidman) and the three share an uncomfortable silence, before Grethen breaks the ice with `Hot in here`. Soon, Gretchen and Kayla exit the elevator while Megyn glowers at them from a distance.

`Bombshell` directed by Jay Roach and written by Charles Randolph tells the stories of various female Fox News personnel and their altercations with the founder Roger Ailes.

Hired by media conglomerate Rupert Murdoch, Roger Ailes molded Fox News into the most powerful news network in America, leading the way for media conservatism. Following the sexual harassment, Ailes had to step down from his role as the CEO and Chairman of Fox News.

`Bombshell` stars John Lithgow as Ailes, Malcolm McDowell as Rupert Murdoch, Allison Janney, Mark Duplass, Connie Britton, Alice Eve, Kate McKinnon, Brigette Lundy-Paine, Ashley Greene, Madeline Zima, Stephen Root, and Rob Delaney.

`Bombshell` will be released on December 20, 2019.
