If you were part of the fandom that didn`t welcome the latest series of Star Wars live-action movies, the first official trailer for John Favreau`s Disney+ bound `The Mandolorian` might just change your mind.

Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones, Narcos) takes on the legendary suit of armor Mandolorian and goes out on a bounty-hunting expedition in a galaxy far, far away. The trailer opens with helmets of fallen Storm Troopers. `The Mandalorian` searches for his prey in a landscape now in ruins.

`The Mandolorian` is giving major Western film vibes, with Pedro Pascal himself confirming that he`s based his performance on Clint Eastwood`s character from `The Man With No Name` trilogy. The show is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

`The Mandolorian` stars Carl Weathers as Greef Carga, the head of the bounty hunter coalition that sends off Mandolorian on a special mission. Gina Carano will play Cara Dune, a former Rebel Shock Trooper, with Wener Herzog bringing a crime lord out to get Mandolorian. Giancarlo Esposito will play a fighter pilot and Taika Waititi will voice the droid IG-11, with Nick Nolte, Emily Swallow, Brendan Wayne, Jamal Antar, Bernard Bullen, and Dominic Pace in unknown roles.

Disney is leaving no stone unturned in their Star Wars series and has brought on board some exceptional behind the camera talent, boosted by the return of producer Dave Filoni. In addition to Filoni and Favreau, the series will be directed by Taika Waititi, Rick Famuyiwa, Deborah Chow, and Bryce Dallas Howard.

`The Mandalorian` pilot will be available on November 12, the same day the Disney streaming service will be unveiled to the world.
