At the D 23 Expo on Saturday last week, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and Ryan Coogler presented 'Black Panther II' to a jam-packed convention. Ryan Coogler returns to direct, with a release date of May 22, 2022.

While the direction of the story and other details haven't been revealed, most of the cast may be reprising their roles ; Chadwick Boseman returning as Black Panther. Other returning cast members are Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, , Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Daniel Kaluuya. Martin Freeman, who played CIA agent Everett K. Ross could be back along with Donald Grover in a potential villain role with Michael. B Jordan returning.
'Black Panther' written and directed by Ryan Coogler centered on T'Challa(Chadwick Boseman), who after his father's death returns home to Wakanda to inherit his throne. However, a powerful enemy related to his family threatens to attack his nation. It also starred Micheal B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Basset, Forest Whitaker, Martin Freeman, and Andy Serkis.
