Maverick New Zealand based filmmaker Taika Waititi, who voiced the fan-favorite rock monster 'Korg' could be in line for a potentially off-beat once again. Yes, 'Thor: Ragnarok' director is in talks to join the antihero gang in James Gunn's 'Suicide Squad' sequel.
Apart from 'Korg', he has voiced the droid IG-13 in the upcoming Star Wars series 'The Mandalorian' and the series 'Rick and Morty'. All this about him voicing a character is conjecture as of now, for he might as well be playing a flesh and blood superhero character.
'Suicide Squad 2' will be directed by James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) with Margot Robbie, Viola Davis and Joel Kinnaman returning. The movie has added the likes of Idris Elba, David Dastmalchian, Daniela Melchior, Flula Borg, Steve Agee and, Nathan Fillion.
'Suicide Squad 2' has an initial release date of August 6, 2021.
