Michael Bay, the flamboyant director of the 'Transformers' franchise is directing another action movie. He will be teaming with the 'Transformers' scribe Ehren Kruger. Bay will be producing 'Black Five' with Erwin Stoff
Bay will direct 'Black Five' for Sony Pictures. Sony has been very careful in not divulging too much about the project. However, we do know it's about an elite military squad with access to some heavy-duty advanced technology, something which will materialize very well in the explosion loving hands of Michael Bay.
Michael Bay might have not fared well with critics, but he makes a good buck on every movie he makes. His last movie 'Transformers: The Last Knight' made $605 million in spite of being panned by the critics.
As of now, Bay is busy directing the Netflix action flick 'Six Underground' starring Ryan Reynolds, Melanie Laurent, Dave Franco, Ben Hardy, Corey Hawkins, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Adria Arjona, Lior Raz, and Payman Maadi. The film tells the story of 6 billionaires who form a vigilante squad by faking their deaths to take down notorious criminals.
