`Suicide Squad` may have been a fairly mediocre movie, but no one can deny the fact that Margot Robbie`s `Harley Quin` was a clear standout. `The Wolf of the Wall Street` star perfectly captured the character`s madness and humor, making it one of the best comic-book characters brought on screen.
Margot Robbie will be now headlining `Birds of Prey: The Fabolous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn.` A brief teaser surfaced Reddit before it was removed. The teaser, although not in English, gives an insight into the wacky tone movie will have. And it is pretty, as the teaser begins with the golden balloons floating around (a clear allusion to the upcoming IT)
Robbie soon appears and declares `"F-ck off with these goddamn clowns already," making the `emancipation` part of the title clearer. It is possible Harley has broken up with Joker and flown solo. The rest of the teaser gives a flashing glance at the other heroines of Gotham, and Ewan McGregor as the menacing `Black Mask`. He is not donning the iconic mask here, but it is a very real possibility that he will in the movie.

Directed by Cathy Yan, `Birds of Prey` will see Harley teaming up with the trifecta of Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), The Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez). Together, they`ll be protecting a young Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco) from Crime-lords Black Mask (Ewan McGregor) and Victor Zsasz (Chris Messina).
Apart from the sneak peek at the characters, we don`t have an official trailer for the movie. Currently in post-production, `Birds of Prey` will hit the theatres on February 7, 2020.
