Martin Scorsese fans without a Netflix subscription can finally relax. The streaming giant Netflix has finally seen the light and will release Scorsese`s mob-drama for a movie-going audience. However, it still might not be available to all.

`The Irishman` in spite of its theatrical release, has been left out from major theatre chains such as AMC, Cinemark, or even Cineplex. Before the theatrical release, `The Irishman` has been chosen as the opening night film for the upcoming New York Film Festival.
