Beyond Film Festival which is to be held from September 25-October 8, announced its slate of movies yesterday. Hailed as 'LA.'s biggest genre film festival', it will be featuring some of Oscar hopefuls and film festival favorites. Films such as 'Parasite, 'Jojo Rabbit','Dolemite is my Name', and 'Daniel Isn't Real.'

No doubt this roster of films is an impressive one, but nothing is going to match the excitement for Richard Stanley's 'The Color of Space'. Starring Nicolas Cage, this film is based on H.P Lovecraft's story of the same name. While Stanley doesn't have the best track with the studio system of filmmaking, fans reverentially believe in the holy trinity of Richard Stanley. Nicolas Cage, and H.P. Lovecraft.

The film festival along with special screenings will host a Q & A session to celebrate the 25 years of the movie 'Natural Born Killers'. The director Oliver Stone will be present with Woody Harrelson and Juliette Lewis. Other special screenings include 'Jennifer's Body' (2009), 'The Long Goodbye'(1973), 'The Exorcist' (1973).
