The director is returning to his quirky sensibilities with his upcoming film `Jojo Rabbit`. The trailer for it is out and has both laugh-out-loud and sad moments. The trailer follows a 10-year-old Jojo (Roman Griffin Davis) an avid member of the Nazi Party. He is slightly taken aback by the training but is reassured by his imaginary friend, who goes by the name of Adolf Hitler (played by Waitati himself).

He is as devoted to the cause as he can be, but is petrified to find a young Jewish girl hiding in their house.
