Kevin James, last seen on the now-canceled television series 'Kevin Can Wait' has found a new home. It may not be television, but you will see the actor board the Netflix train as renews his partnership with the streaming giant.

Kevin James will star in a NASCAR themed comedy for 'Netflix' The series, titled 'The Crew' is a multicamera show picked straight to series. James will play the crew chief. When the owner steps down and passes the team off to his daughter, James finds himself at odds with the tech-reliant millennials she starts bringing in to modernize the team.

Jeff Lowell, who created 'The Ranch' for Netflix will serve as the showrunner for this Kevin James comedy. Kevin James is no stranger to the Netflix audience with his comedy special 'Never Don't Give Up' from last year. He also starred in the action-comedy flick 'TTrue Memoirs of an International Assassin' for Netflix.
