Chiwetel Ejiofor has boarded the train for Mark Wahlberg starrer 'Infinite.' Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the film will also star Dylan O'Brien and Sophie Cookson. Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian producing the film.
Written by Ian Shorr and John Lee Hancock, 'Infinite' is an adaptation of 2009 novel 'The Reincarnationist Papers.' The novel centers on a group of near-immortal men and women who are reincarnated over the centuries and are known as `the Infinite.` To defeat an evil mastermind, the group must rely on a man who suffers from schizophrenia and who will have to learn that all his vivid dreams are memories from past lives to defeat the villain.
Whalberg will play the schizophrenic man, while Ejiofor will play a member of the Infinite who has found a way to stop the reincarnation process and plans to use it on his kind.
Currently in the pre-production phase of the filming, 'Infinite' is set for a theatrical release date of August 7, 2020.
