`Once` and `Sing Street` writer-director John Carney is bringing a rom-com anthology series for Amazon Original. The podcast and NEW YORK TIMES column `Modern Love` is getting a mellow and intricate on-screen adaptation.
The trailer presents glances at various people dealing with different kinds of love at different stages of their lives. One such couple is played by Tina Fey and John Slattery, who is out visiting a therapist on their date night. Meanwhile, Dev Patel is going issues with fidelity, and Julia Garner has fallen in love with an older man.

Created by John Carney, `Modern Love` will explore "love in its multitude of forms - including sexual, romantic, familial, platonic, and self-love. It stars Anne Hathaway, Tina Fey, Dev Patel, John Slattery, Catherine Keener, Julia Garner, Andy Garcia among others.
`Modern Love` will feature guest directors such as Sharon Hogan, Tom Hall, and Emmy Rossum. All episodes will be available to stream on Amazon on October 18, 2019.
