Miles Joris-Peyrafitte has been chosen to direct the new `Tank Girl` movie. His selection comes as no surprise, having earlier worked with Margot Robbie on his Sundance Feature `Dreamland` this year.

`Tank Girl` is a British comic series by Alan Martin and Jamie Hewlett which was made into a movie starring Lori Petty, NaomiWatts, Ice-T, and Malcolm McDowell. Directed by Rachel Talalay, it followed the story of an anti-hero Tank Girl (Lori Petty) who fights against the tyranny of a mega-corporation that dominates the remaining potable water supply of the planet.

The rights to `Tank Girl` were recently picked by Margot Robbie. She was said to be producing the movie through her company LuckyChap.
