After starring in 'The Leftovers', 'Gunpowder', and 'Harlots', Liv Tyler will return to television with Fox's '911: Lone Star'. 'Lone Star' is a spin-off to the procedural drama '911' created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear.
The spin-off will focus on Rob Lowe's character, a sophisticated New York fireman who, along with his son, re-locates to Austin, Texas, where he tries to balance both personal and professional lives. Liv Tyler will play Michelle Blake, the brilliant chief paramedic who is always at odds with Owen in the station. Unknown to others, she is also working on finding out what happened to her younger sister Iris, who disappeared two years earlier. She'll stop at nothing to discover the truth, even if it means burning her own life down.
The series is set to premiere Jan. 19, 2020 with Murphy, Falchuk, and Minear serving as creators and executive producers. Lowe will serve as a co-executive producer. Liv Tyler will be seen in James Gray's upcoming sci-fi movie 'Ad Astra' as Eve Mcbride, wife to Brad Pitt's Roy McBride.
