James Gunn has finally pulled the curtain away! The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' director took to social media to officially introduce us to the cast of his Suicide Squad sequel. Gunn tweeted a cast list a few hours ago, stating " Don't get too attached. #TheSuicideSquad" Apart from some of the major cast members returning, there's some fresh and exciting edition.

Fans might notice the absence of Will Smith who appeared as Deadshot in the first movie. The 'Men in Black' star has been replaced by Idris Alba who'll be playing a different character. The rumored casting of Taika Waititi and Pete Davidson has been confirmed, and Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman will return to reprise their roles.

Up next for Gunn is the 'Guardians of the Galaxy 3' which he yesterday confirmed to be his last movie of the franchise. Written and directed by James Gunn, 'Suicide Squad 2' has a release date of August 6, 2021.
