After Captain America and her other counterparts, it is now time for Scarlett Johansson's 'Black Widow' to get an origin story of her own. And Marvel has decided to comply with your requests, as a 'Black Widow' movie is set for a 2020 release date.
It is believed that the 'Black Widow' movie could see a major Avenger returning for a cameo. Iron Man, who finally met his maker in 'Avengers: Endgame' is in talks for a possible cameo. Robert Downey Jr. is done with his Marvel contract, so it is left to uncertainty if he would want to return. There is no official decision as of now regarding Downey making a return.
Meanwhile, 'Black Widow' is underway filming. The film which will kick off the Phase 4 for MCU is said to be set after the events of 'Captain America: Civil War' where we would get a glimpse into her life as a Russian secret agent before she became a part of the Avengers.
