Sam Esmail's next project is going to be light years ahead of his previously earthly offerings. 'Mr. Robot' and 'Homecoming' creator will be bringing 'Battlestar Galactica' for NBC's streaming service 'Peacock.'

Esmail knows what his audience wants, and with his storytelling abilities will surely deliver another exciting series. Ron D Moore is on board with Esmail's retelling of the story and if it's good enough for Ron, it should be good enough for fans too. No details regarding the project have been made known as of now.

'Battlestar Galactica' is about a group of humans aboard a battleship, Battlestar Galactica, who are forced to abandon their planet after being attacked by Cylons. They try to evade the Cylons while searching for their true home, Earth. Along with Esmail's 'Battlestar Galactica', NBC is looking forward to bring several of their original programmings to their streaming service 'Peacock' which is all set to launch next month.
