J.D Dillard, the director of the severely underrated film `Sleight` is back with his next project. The survival horror thriller titled `Sweetheart` stars Kiersey Clemons (Dope, Hearts Beat Loud) as Jenn, a woman who finds herself stranded in a far-off shore.

Jenn has washed ashore a small tropical island and it doesn`t take her long to realize she`s completely alone. She must spend her days not only surviving the elements but must also fend off the malevolent force that comes out each night.

Written and directed by J.D Dillard and produced by Blumhouse, `Sweetheart` also stars Emory Cohen, Hanna Mangan-Lawrence, and Andrew Crawford. The movie had its world premiere on January 28, 2019, at Sundance Film Festival and will be available on-demand and digital by Universal Pictures from October 22.
