After an ugly split between MCU and Sony over Spider-Man's revenue distribution, things are back on track! Reports suggest that both parties have joined in a happy union. That only means one, and that's the return of Spider-Man into Marvel's fold and more Spide-Man movies for us!

Kevin Feige said in a statement, " I am thrilled that Spidey's journey in the MCU will continue, and I and all of us at Marvel Studios are very excited that we get to keep working on it. Spider-Man is a powerful icon and hero whose story crosses all ages and audiences around the globe. He also happens to be the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes, so as Sony continues to develop their own Spidey-verse you never know what surprises the future might hold.`

The third Spider-Man movie featuring Tom Holland as the eponymous hero could pick up after "Spider-Man: Far From Home" which saw his secret identity being given away by Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhal). The movie has a release date of July 16, 2020, and it is unclear if Jon Watts will return to direct.
