Samuel L. Jackson has been the latest in the line of people to have responded to Martin Scorsese's comments about the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor who plays Nick Fury in the MCU had a lot to say about the filmmaker's remarks about Marvel films not being real cinema.
Jackson has responded, saying , "I mean that's like saying Bugs Bunny ain't funny. Films are films. Everybody doesn't like his stuff either. Everybody's got an opinion, so I mean it's okay. Ain't going to stop nobody from making movies."
Jackson was present at Tyler Perry's new studio launch in Atlanta, and had nothing but praise for Perry as he called him both a "real one" and "a real anomaly." He went to say, " Everybody has dreams about things they want to do and what they hope to accompalish. Tyler has been one of those visionaries that taps into his visions and makes them happen, and that's amazing. Everybody doesn't have that."
