The season will pick up after Bjorn`s crowning as the new king of Kattegat and his struggles with power, as Vikings face the consequences of Ragnar`s death and forthcoming battles.

Created by Michael Hirst, "Vikings" is inspired by the tales of the Norsemen of early medieval Scandinavia.
