After "Aladdin", Guy Ritchie is actively seeking a return to the genre of action comedies. The trailer for "The Gentlemen" with Matthew McConaughey was released a few days ago, but it isn't where Guy Ritchie seems to be stopping.

Ritchie will be reuniting with Jason Statham for the remake of the French thriller "Le Convoyeur" for Miramax pictures. Statham will portray a cold and mysterious character who works for an armored the truck company responsible for moving hundreds of millions of dollars around Los Angeles each week.

`I'm looking forward to bringing this story to life and working with Jason while he still has the use of his knees,` said Ritchie. Miramax CEO Bill Block and Ivan Atkinson will produce. Ritchie and Miramax have also partnered up on the crime thriller `The Gentlemen` which has a theatrical release date of January 24, 2020.
