After "Wonder Woman," Gal Gadot is all set to bring another hero on the screen. Gal Gadot will play Irene Sendler, Polish heroine who saved several Jews during the Holocaust. Gadot, who has a newly established company Pilot Wave has made this project her number one agenda.

Irena Sendler tells the harrowing story of a woman's defiant stand against Polish Nazi occupation and the incredible network she developed to care for and save 2500 Jewish children from the Warsaw ghetto. Following her arrest by the Gestapo during the height of the war, the drama becomes a race against time to save not only herself but the identities of the hidden thousands who'll face certain execution.

Justine Juel Gillmer has been hired to write the screenplay. Gal Gadot will also be seen in the "Wonder Woman 1984" and "Death on The Nile" and an untitled Heddy Lamarr series where she not only stars as Lamarr but will also be executive producing.
