The Oscar-winning actor Russel Crowe will be seen in an upcoming horror movie from Miramax Pictures. The "A Beautiful Mind" actor will be teaming up with the writer Kevin Williamson. Williamson, whose writing credit includes "Scream' movies and television's "Dawson Creek" will develop this horror movie as a part of his deal at Miramax.

Here goes the plot for the Crowe-Williamson collaboration- Crowe plays a troubled actor who begins to unravel while shooting a horror film. His estranged daughter wonders if he's slipping back into his past addictions or if there's something more sinister at play.

This yet untitled movie will be written and directed by Joshua John Miller and M.A. Fortin, the team behind 2015's "The Final Girls," with Williamson backing the project as a producer. Williamson said in a statement, "so excited to work with Russell, one of the greatest actors of our time... Fortin and Miller have such a fresh vision for this film, we know that together they will create something terrifying and memorable.`
