After making history with his Emmy win this year, Billy Porter has become a red-hot commodity for the film industry. The "Pose" actor has entered negotiations to star as Fairy Godmother in Sony's live-action adaptation "Cinderella" with Camilla Cabello playing the titular role.

Kay Cannon, who helmed the blockbuster coming of age sex comedy "Blockers" last will write and direct with a story from James Corden. Corden will also serve as a producer on the project, along with Leo Pearlman and Jonathan Kadin.

Porter is also being considered for the reboot of "Little Shop of Horrors." The actor could play the role of Audrey II, the carnivorous plant that devours humans for strength. Future projects of Porter include the third season of "Pose" and comedy "Like a Boss" with Rose Byrne, Tiffany Haddish, and Salma Hayek.
