Paramount Studios have entered into negotiations with Ryan Reynolds and John Krasinski. The duo is expected to front their surreal comedy "Imaginary Friends." Krasinski, now a trusted director thanks to "A Quiet Place" is expected to write, produce, direct and star alongside Ryan Reynolds if everything works out.
"Imaginary Friends" is a tale of a man who can see and talk to people's imaginary friends, befriending those that have been forgotten or discarded. However, some imaginary friends, lacking love and friendship, turn to the dark side, and it's up to Reynolds' character to save the world from those that become evil.
Post his "Deadpool" success, Reynolds has returned to the spotlight and has been attaching himself to some very exciting projects. He will be seen in Michael Bay's "6 Underground" and Shawn Levy's "Free Guy." Krasinski, on the other hand, wrapped shoot for "A Quiet Place" sequel which he wrote, directed and starred in. He will also return for the second season of Amazon's "Jack Ryan."
