United Artists and MGM's "The Addams Family" is getting a sequel ! The movie, even though in its opening week has already made $35.1 millions worldwide; rightfully setting in motion a sequel. The sequel has been set for a release date of October 21, 2021.

In a statement made to Jonathan Glickman, president of MGM's Motion Picture Group, he said, "We always knew this piece of great IP was worthy of bringing back to the big screen." No details have come out pertaining to the sequel as of now.

Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan's animated telling of the famous cartoon series stars Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloë Grace Moretz, Finn Wolfhard, Nick Kroll, SnoopDog, Allison Janney, Elsie Fisher, and Bette Midler in voice roles.
