Currently doing the press rounds for his upcoming `anti-hate satire` Jojo Rabbit, Taika Waititi spoke about another future project. While speaking to Variety in a press junket, there's always a possibility that Jane Foster's breast cancer storyline could very well find its way in the movie.

While the filmmaker is a huge fan of the storyline, he still expressed some reservations; saying that `We're not sure if we're going to do a complete lift of that whole storyline. These things change through the shoot and even when we're editing sometimes. Like, let's get rid of that storyline where she's got breast cancer. We'll change it to something else, or maybe she's fine.`

Waititi is alluding to the storyline where Jane Foster, Thor's former love interest is treated with breast cancer. Jane also comes to wield the mighty Mjolnir and becomes Lady Thor while Thor loses his title of the Asgardian protector. While being a superhero gives her a temporary relief, Jane's body finds it too much to handle. "Thor 4" will reunite Chris Hemsworth's Thor and Natalie Portman's Jane Foster.

With a set release date of November 5, 2021, `Thor: Love and Thunder` goes into production next year.
