Clive Owen is finally embracing the Stephen King Universe. The "Closer" actor will be seen reuniting with "Children of Men" co-star Julianne Moore. Moore will play the titular character Lisey and Owen has been cast as her husband for the Apple TV + series.

Stephen King's novel "Lisey's Story" is the story of Lisey Landon, who is the widow of a famous and wildly successful novelist, Scott Landon. A series of events occurs that causes Lisey to begin facing certain realities about her husband that she had repressed and forgotten after Scott's death.

J.J Abrams's Bad Robot Productions and Warner Bros. Television will produce the show for Apple TV + with Stephen King personally writing the adaptation. The show will is set to premiere following the launch of Apple T.V. + On November 1, 2019.
