After playing a badass female fighter on Netflix's "Daredevil," Jessica Henwick will be doing that on a much bigger avenue. Henwick has been the latest to come on board for "The Matrix 4."

Jessica Henwick's character has been kept under wraps for now. She will be sharing screen space with Neil Patrick Harris, " "Aquaman" actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Keanu Reeves, and Carrie-Anne Moss will be returning to reprise their roles from the first movie. `The Matrix 4` will be written and directed by the Wachowskis, with Alexandar Hemon and David Mitchell doing additional word on the screenplay. Wachowskis are also producing with Grant Hill. The film is expected to begin production at the beginning of 2020, with Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures producing and looking after the global distribution.
