Phew! Talk about having a moment, right? With Marriage Story, The Dead Don't Die, The Report, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Adam Driver is started to feel like an omnipresent force on the screen. The actor is now in talks to join Jodie Comer, Matt Damon, and Been Affleck for "The Last Duel." Driver is said to be eyes for a leading role.

"The Last Duel" is set in 14th century France and follows a man who goes to war and returns to discover a friend of his has raped his wife (portrayed by Comer). No one will believe the woman, and the soldier appeals to the king of France and says he wants to fight a duel to the death to decide the man's fate, becoming the last legally sanctioned duel in France.

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck will be playing friends who turn into enemies. The duo will also be penning the script with Nicole Holofcener, with Ridley Scott directing the movie.
