`Crazy Heart` and `Black Mass` filmmaker Scott Cooper is venturing into the horror genre with his latest directorial `Antlers.` Cooper's latest project is produced by Guillermo del Toro, David S. Goyer, and J. Miles Dale `Antlers` is a story of a small-town Oregon teacher (Keri Russell) and her brother (Jesse Plemons), the local sheriff, discover that a young student (Jeremy T. Thomas) is harboring a dangerous secret with frightening consequences.



Based on Nick Antosca's short story `The Quiet Boy,` the movie is directed by Scott Cooper and co-written by Cooper, Antosca, and C Henry Chaisson, `Antlers` stars Keri Russell, Jesse Plemons, Jeremy T Thomas, Graham Greene, Scott Haze, Rory Cochrane, Amy Madigan, Cody Davis, and Sawyer Jones.

Backed by Fox Searchlight Pictures, the movie has a release date of April 17, 2020.
