Mythos Studios' first movie Cupid has found a creative team for the project. Acclaimed music video director and animator Pete Candeland (known for his collabotation with Gorillaz) has been selected to helm the project.

Cupid will be based on Greek and Roman mythology, and the narrative will involve Cupid and his love interest Psyche. Psyche, still uncast, is human royalty whose beauty intimidates Cupid's mom Aphrodite. Pop star Justin Bieber will be voicing the character of Cupid for the movie.

David Maisel said in a statement that "We are tremendously fortunate to have found brilliant creative partners whose artistry and storytelling talent will help us bring these very distinct, yet universally themed stories to life on the big screen." The one-year old Mythos Studio also announced the newly appointed Vice President Aaron Dem, who will look after the production phase for the studio.
